You won't find a nicer state campground anywhere. I'll ditto the other reviewers regarding spaciousness. The only drawback is no sewer but if there was you would probably never have space available. There are nice accessible dump sites if needed and the 50 amp electrical is great. There are two separate campgrounds, Section A & Section B. "A" has a combination of electric and non-electric sites, whereas "B" has all electric sites. Lots of areas for hiking and bike riding just watch out for those slithery critters who also inhabit the area.

Of the three RV parks in the Farmington area this is by far the best. It's a relatively small park but has adequate space between sites. It will handle big rigs with no problem. The only drawback is there is only 30 amp available which during the cooler weather is really not a problem. The park is kept in a clean condition and the sites are asphalt and level. We would definitely return for a one or two day stay while traveling through.

This park has gravel/dirt interior roads and RV sites. The sites are level with grass between sites which are nicely separated from your neighbor. It is located close to I-25 and near a Indian casino. There is also a 27-hole championship golf course nearby which is reasonably priced. The park does not accept reservations and it is on a first come, first serve basis. If you call ahead while enroute the office will let you know if there are available sites but won't guarantee anything. The park is close to Albuquerque and everything it has to offer. All in all a nice park for a short stay. Only real drawback is the close proximity of railroad tracks but it did not present a real problem with sleeping, etc.

We stayed here in May 2009 and they still have many of the same problems as stated back then. The biggest problem this time was extremely low electrical voltage to the sites: dropped below 104 volts on several occasions and the park was nowhere near full. Had to run generator for A/C due to triple digit temperatures for almost a week. The new (Cottonwood) section of the park is "still" not open supposedly due to a sewer problem. This new section is really nice when (if) it finally does open. The rates for the new section will be higher but will still offer Passport America except for weekends.

We've camped here several times mainly because of its proximity to the City of Riverside. This time I was very disappointed. The park was a dust bowl and the "rules" were arbitrarily enforced by the park rangers. Examples are the number of people allowed on a site and the lack of speed enforcement of vehicles entering the campground area. They currently have additional RV sites under construction and they were supposed to be available in May. Since it's a Riverside County Park who knows when the completion date will be. Dust was the major issue which could be somewhat controlled by watering the roadways a couple of times a day. This is the first time we have been uncomfortable in this park.

Nice park for overnight or extended stay. Dirt/gravel sites but level and can easily accomodate most rigs without unhooking toads. Each site has orange trees which certain times of the year are loaded with oranges. Easy access to Hwy 58.

The park is easy access from I15 or Hwy 395. It is kept clean but the sites are close together on the hookup side and narrow. The sites are gravel and level with the patio area cement. Ok for overnight or short stay although there appear to be several permanent residents. WIFI was adequate if your close to the office, otherwise marginal. We've stayed here before mainly because of the convenience to major highways.

As other reviewers have said the park is clean and well maintained. Whoever designed it probably didn't do much RVing. The pull thru won't accomodate leaving your tow vehicle hooked up if you plan on hooking up to sewer. Also the patio is situated in an odd location near the back of the coach which is also across from your neighboring site's sewer hookup. The sites are concrete but just wide enough to accomodate the width of a motorhome. This requires that you walk thru their planter area to access the storage bays or patio area. Otherwise a good overnight park.

The park is conveniently located close to I-5. The sites are cement and level with pull throughs and back-ins. If you hook up to sewer in a pull through you may have to unhook your tow unless you have a pretty long sewer hose. The hookups are near the back of the site. If they have WIFI it's not very strong as I couldn't connect to anything. There are small trees between most sites which are more an inconvenience than anything else. They either rub your slideouts or prevent opening your patio awning. It was fairly warm on the day we stayed, low 90s, and found that the electrical was lower than it should be for the temperature. Overall it is a nice RV Park and could be used for long term stays.

I will ditto the other observations about the parks cleanliness and friendly staff. The park is very nice overall and the only complaint I can voice is the sewer hookup location on the site. If you are just there for the night and don't particularly want to unhook your tow you have a problem unless you have a 30' long sewer hose. The sewer is located at the very back of each site and the electric and water about midway.

Nice enough park but questionable as to whether it rates Trailer Life's generous rating. It sets on the side of a hill that overlooks the surrounding terrain with pretty views. The sites are long but require some maneuvering to get level due to the slope of the terrain. The employees are very courteous and helpful and the site has good electric & water pressure. If you stay here don't, I repeat, don't bother to wash your rig or tow vehicle before arriving because both will be filthy before you get to the office to check in. The gravel/dirt drive to the park has some washboard but not too rough, just dusty. It's not the most convenient access from I-90 either, but is close to tourist activities in the area.

Over priced for what you get but the park is adequate for a one or two day stay. The sites will accomodate any length vehicle and tow and are spaced far enough apart to be comfortable. The sites are gravel and level. Good electric and water pressure and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We were there on the 4th of July and they were helpful in pointing out activities going on in town. The entry to the park is accessible via a one lane roadway which is actually a two way street. Makes it real interesting when someone is coming the opposite direction.

Very nice park with lots of trees and grass to enjoy and easy access from I-84. It is right next to the Columbia River with easy access if you have a boat or other water toys. The park has paved interior roads which are quite narrow but no problem for big rigs to maneuver. The sites are ample sized with easy back-in spots. The pull-thrus are the parallel parking type but again will handle most any size rig without difficulty. Great electricity and water pressure. We would definitely stay here again. Reservations are suggested as it gets pretty busy with families during the summer.

Very nice and clean park and the only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because there is no patio area or table next to the site. There are grass areas on either side but not really designed to sit outside. The sites are level cement with paved interior roads. The park is big rig friendly and is easy to maneuver. Very good electricity and water pressure. The park WIFI is excellent. There is easy access to I-5 with shopping nearby. It is reasonably priced for what it offers and we would definitely stay here again.

The park is very clean and well maintained with lots of trees. Paved interior roads with gravel sites. The sites have considerable slope back to front and the utility hookups are located at the very back of the site. If you are towing and don't want to unhook you probably won't be able to connect to anything but electricity. Also if you stay hooked up leveling is tricky because of the slope. Otherwise a nice park for a day or possibly a weeks stay.

This is a membership park in a beautiful setting in a valley between Hwy 16 & Hwy 79. The park is close to all the tourist attractions and plenty of things to do in the park if you elect not to travel once there. The park is divided into different sections, one for pet lovers and non-pet lovers. The only drawback this time of the year is the afternoon thunderstorms which can be quite exciting. We stayed here for a week under our RPI membership.

There are not a lot of parks to choose from in Southern Wyoming along I80. This one is a big, flat, dirt/gravel parking lot with FHU and picnic tables at each site. It is actually good for a one or two night stopover park but not a destination park. When we arrived the office was closed and we picked our site. We planned on some outside activities but out of nowhere popped up a thunder storm and stiff wind, which is probably typical for this country at this time of the year. Easy access to I-80 and fuel stops close by.

The park is relatively small, but has everything you need for a nice stay. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, and the small store at the park is well stocked with items you may need, including some RV supplies. There are shaded sites and long pull thru sites that are out in the open allowing unobstructed satellite reception. They also have cable TV for a fee, and their Wi-Fi is only barely adequate. This area hosts an annual quad-runner rally so if you plan on being here this time of the year make a reservation early. We were fortunate to get the only site left for one night. They also accept most all discounts, i.e. Good Sam, etc.

I ditto the statements of the previous rater in May '08. No puddles in the driveway but the potholes were still there. Nothing has changed since May and the park is in really run down condition. When I tried to level with my jacks one of them sunk into the dirt. We packed up and went into Lusk to BJ's Campground which is nothing to write home about but was paradise compared to Prairie View. All the parks we have stayed at in Wyoming are very over priced for what you get.

This is definitely a one nighter type park. Has parallel parking type cement sites and FHU with good 50 amp. The particular site we got had the water turned off from a "main water leak" which apparently was only limited to my site and the one next to me. It's close to the Interstate with easy access. The entrance to the park is a bit tricky and you register at the store next to the gas islands. Overall the employees were very friendly. Also has a nice creek running next to the park.

I will have to ditto the reviewer from Dec. 2007. After some bad flooding this Spring where the park was completely under water, it has been restored to great shape and still being fine tuned. The nearby Branson Landing Mall is terrific and within easy walking distance. Great place to stay with easy access off Hwy 65, but make sure you follow the directions from their website.

Very nice and clean RV Park. Most sites are long enough to accommodate big rigs and are gravel/dirt but level. Not all sites have 50 amp but the 30 amp service is good. The prices per night are much more reasonable than the other two parks close by which charge over $20 more per night with no more amenities other than cable TV. We would definitely stay here again.

As stated by other reviewers the park is readily accessible from I-40 and capable of handling any big rig. The management is trying to keep the grass green but having problems due to the drought in this area. The Wifi is weak and hard to access. This is a nice park for an overnight or couple of day visit. They honor Passport America but only with cash or check payment.

Nice park with lots of cement. They offer Passport America discounts which makes it worthwhile for a day or two stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here on our way to Branson, from Nashville. The park is a bit deceiving, and appears from the entrance to be tight and small. Actually, it is easy to maneuver a big rig, and they have a limited number of pull thru sites capable of handling any big rig, and keep your tow hooked up if your there just overnight. They only take cash or check as payment, no credit cards. Satellite is available from the pull thru sites, but questionable anywhere else because of the trees. The directions to the park off Hwy 60 are a bit confusing, but once you figure out that what they call an "outer road" is actually a frontage road for Hwy 60, it becomes easy to locate the park entrance. We'd definitely stay here again.

What a great place to spend a couple of weeks. I ditto what the other camper said in May 2008 about the park. There are two campgrounds A & B. "A" seems to be a little smaller with non-electricity sites and "B" has larger sites and all have 50 amp electric and water. Dump stations are convenient and overall the park is kept up very nicely.

Large park with ample space between sites. Due to the close proximity to a dairy farm, flies can be a problem during certain times of the year, but we did not have a problem during this stay. The canals running thru the park are home to some nice sized catfish. They also permit washing of RV's and autos on your site. Nice place to stay although limited to Thousand Trail members or RPI members.

Nice park for a stop over. They have long pull-thrus so you don't have to unhook. Sites are dirt but level. Right next to Hwy 60, but no problem with road noise. RR tracks nearby, but not an issue for sleeping. Overall quiet park, and would stay again.

Nice RV park with many shaded sites. Pads are asphalt and relatively level. Only drawback is the sites are pretty close together making it cozy with your neighbor. They have pull through and back in sites. The park is located close to town and also a reasonable driving distance to Mammoth Mountain and fishing lakes and streams.

Nice County Park with 11 or 12 full hookup sites and some pull thru sites with water & electric. Ample space between full hookup sites but a little tight between sites on pull thru. Many shade trees and lots of grass. The interior roads and sites are basically dirt/gravel. The sites are level but the roads are a bit bumpy. There are a couple of fishing lakes next to the RV park with a nice view of the lake from several sites. We found the staff friendly and were maintaining the park in good condition. The park offers Passport America discounts during the week with regular prices on the weekend. Well worth the price. Also the park is close driving distance to the City of Riverside. It is suggested that reservations be made as far in advance as possible up to 7 months as certain dates fill up fast.

This park would be great if all you wanted to do is fish Eagle Lake. No other activities in the area. The sights are dirt/gravel with pine trees as shade. The sights are relatively level and did not appear to have a lot of "big rig" sites. I thought Trailer Life's rating was a bit generous considering you only have a partial view of the lake. There is a nice restaurant on site and WIFI is available at a fee of around $5.00 per day. Cell phone service is non existent if you have Verizon as it is an Analog only area. The park is located 35 miles north of Susanville at an elevation of 5000 plus feet. Hwy 139 is a good, although somewhat narrow, highway which rises to 5400+ feet with a 6% winding grade before Susanville heading south.

Happy Trails is a seniors only RV Resort. Children can stay at the park for a week or two. The park has an abundance of activities to enjoy. Two large swimming pools and four spas. There are tennis courts, pickleball courts, pool tables, championship golf course, quilting and sewing clubs, ceramic and lapidary as well as a wood working shop. Close to shopping and 35 miles N/W of Phoenix. After January the park is very busy with snowbirds and professional baseball spring training in the area. There are RV lots interspersed throughout the park and have individual owners. Many lots are for rent on a daily, weekly, monthly or seasonal basic. The monthly price is approximately $550 to $600/month depending on whether the renter or the owner pays the electricity. If you like lots of sun during the winter and are a physically active individual, this would be an ideal location. Just go to the web site listed and check out the list of lots for rent.

All in all this is a good campground for a short stay to see the area or visit the close by casino. The pull thru sites will barely fit a 40 foot motorhome and have to unhook any tow vehicle to fit. Some back in sites have grass next to the sites. The directions to the park are not the best so pay close attention and turn where the sign indicates the entrance to the Cultural Center. Otherwise, you will make a long detour around the block as there is no room to backup or turn around. The park is located about 25 miles south of the City of Yakima on Hwy 97.

Great RV Park next to a lake. Several pull in spots allowing an unrestricted view of the lake and boating activity on the water. Next door is a nice golf driving range. The RV sites are level and asphalt with lots of grass next to the sites. Very friendly and helpful staff. The park is located directly behind COSTCO and close to other shopping and downtown area. This is a great stopover or destination park.
